Back in October, Puffin Books and BBC Worldwide announced that Doctor Who would be teaming up with Roger Hargreaves’ Mr. Men for a brand new book series.

There will be 12 new storybook mash-ups in the series, written and illustrated by Adam Hargreaves, son of Roger Hargreaves, creator of these now famous and much-loved books.

The first four, published by Puffin Books (a division of Penguin Random House Children’s Books UK) will be released on April 25th, 2017. They will feature the First, Fourth, Eleventh and Twelfth Doctors in adventures combining the iconic storytelling of Doctor Who with the whimsical humour of these adorable books. The remaining incarnations will follow soon after.

In the 32-page children’s picture books each Doctor will be joined by a companion as they bump into some familiar faces. Friend and Foe!

Appropriately the first in the series is Dr. First. He is in a bad mood because he can’t find his granddaughter. However, that soon becomes the least of his problems when he stumbles upon the Cybermen.
