The final story of Time Lord Victorious is almost here at last! Pre-order Echoes of Extinction on vinyl from the Big Finish site from today
Big Finish, in association with Demon Records and BBC Studios, today announces the opening of pre-orders for Echoes of Extinction. This limited edition vinyl, the final piece of the Time Lord Victorious puzzle, stars David Tennant and Paul McGann. Due for release via the Big Finish website and other online retailers on 16 April 2021, Doctor Who: Time Lord Victorious – Echoes of Extinction comprises two separate adventures that listeners can play in any order and features a different incarnation of the Doctor on each side. This very special double-A side LP conclusion to the Time Lord Victorious multi-platform event is issued on split red/blue vinyl.
Writer Alfie Shaw is keenly aware that the release of Echoes of Extinction had been delayed by the global pandemic. “True to the spirit of the Doctor, this release is arriving at a different time and place than it was originally aiming for. But it’s finally available and it’s great that the opportunity to pick up a physical copy has been opened up to fans all over the world. Time Lord Victorious has been such a unique project to work on, and everyone at Big Finish really pulled together to make it happen. I hope everyone’s enjoyed our little corner of it.”
Orders of Echoes of Extinction on vinyl will be limited to one per customer, and include a free download
Copies of the vinyl LP ordered through the Big Finish site will come with a free download. However, that won’t be the case for copies bought elsewhere. Due to the extremely limited edition nature of the LP, Big Finish is also recommending that fans pre-ordering the vinyl not cancel any existing pre-order they might have for the download version. Rather, if you receive a copy of Echoes of Extinction on vinyl, you can get your download order refunded. Big Finish is also advising customers that only one LP per customer will be allowed. Although the site is not set up to automatically restrict multiple orders on the order page, such orders will be subsequently be cancelled by the Big Finish team.
