All of the Doctor Who regeneration episodes since 2005 are now available on the BBC iPlayer.
While you digest left-over turkey and indulge in a last mince pie, to mark the departure of Peter Capaldi as the Twelfth Doctor and his regeneration into Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth, the BBC has released all of the regeneration episodes since the show’s return in 2005 as a box set on the BBC iPlayer.
The box set includes Bad Wolf/The Parting of the Ways, where Christopher Eccleston’s short but glorious stint as our favourite time traveller from Gallifrey came to an end and we were introduced to David Tennant’s Tenth Doctor.
And speaking of Tenant, the box set features the epic two-parter The End Of Time parts 1 and 2 and the longest goodbye ever from an outgoing Doctor Who.
We have Matt Smith’s glorious “I will always remember when The Doctor was me” final hurrah in The Time of The Doctor as well as the very latest regeneration episode Twice Upon A Time.
And finally, we have two treats that the 50th anniversary gave us. There’s the wonderful 7 minutes that is The Night of The Doctor in which Paul McGann’s Eighth Doctor regenerates into John Hurt’s War Doctor and the 50th anniversary episode itself The Day of The Doctor where we see a tantalising, but incomplete, regeneration of John Hurt’s War Doctor into Eccleston’s Ninth.
If that’s not a post-Christmas treat, we don’t know what is! You can watch all of the regeneration episodes on the BBC iPlayer.
