It’s almost the end… the synopsis of the Thirteenth Doctor’s final story have been revealed
The wait is over. We now know the date for Jodie Whittaker’s final adventure as the Thirteenth Doctor. The BBC has confirmed that Doctor Who’s feature-length special, The Power of the Doctor, will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer on Sunday 23rd October. Part of the BBC 100 celebrations to make a century of the BBC, this is the last of the three adventures marking the end of Whittaker’s reign as the Doctor.
The episode is also the last outing for show-running Chris Chibnall who penned his Doctor’s final tale. Fittingly Jamie Magnus Stone, one of Chibnall’s favourite directors, is once again back in charge. Stone was in the director’s chair for Sacha Dhawan’s introduction as the Master in the Spyfall Part One.

Two beloved companions, Ace (Sophie Aldred) and Tegan (Janet Fielding) also will join forces with Kate Stewart (Jemma Redgrave), Yaz (Mandip Gill) and Dan (John Bishop) in the Doctor’s fight to the death against the Master (Sacha Dhawan).

As this is the final episode for the Thirteenth Doctor, expect that other familiar and loved faces to also return.
