Penguin Random House Children’s and BBC Studios have unveiled details of the upcoming Doctor Who: The Official Annual 2021, which will include an exclusive tie-in to the Time Lord Victorious story

Due to launch in September 2020, Time Lord Victorious is an ambitious and exciting new Doctor Who story which is set to be told across a wide array of platforms, ranging from audio drama and novels, to escape rooms and immersive theatre.

The story will be set during the Dark Times of the universe, when even the Eternals were young. It will follow several Doctors across time and space as they defend their home planet from a terrible race. The Eighth, Ninth, and Tenth Doctors, plus companion Rose Tyler, as well as the Daleks and the Ood will feature across this story, with more to be revealed in the coming months as more products are announced.

Now, it has been announced that this year’s official Doctor Who annual will also form part of the Time Lord Victorious story. This publication joins the extensive list of media and other products already confirmed as tying into this expansive project. Elsewhere, Titan Comics are due to release two tie-in comic adventures, with Hero Collector contributing four new scale model figurine box sets.
