A new book packed with gorgeous Daryl Joyce illustrations celebrates the 60th Anniversary with six decades of TARDIS travels

Telos Publishing are marking Doctor Who’s 60th Anniversary with a new coffee table book showcasing page after page of stunning new art by Daryl Joyce. Each of the over 300 pieces in The Illustrated Journey represents one of the TARDIS’ many landings over the course of 39 seasons of Doctor Who, reimagined free of the constraints of cramped BBC studios.

Preview pages portraying the Doctor’s visits to Marinus, Dalek occupied 22nd century Earth, and more are already available. And they suggest this will be on the most exciting of the many books celebrating the diamond anniversary this year.

The art takes the reader all the way from An Unearthly Child to The Power of the Doctor. There are also chapter illustrations representing key seasons, and the occasional side trip to destinations like the London of Daleks: Invasion Earth 2150ad. The book also includes a foreword by Sophie Aldred (Ace).
