Tonight’s episode was on of Blogtor’s favourite of this series.
Writer Maxine Alderton and director Emma Sullivan did a stellar job of setting the haunting atmosphere while creating several twist and turns that worked well. The guest stars were also compelling. Jodie Whittaker gave what I would consider to be one of her best performance of the series.
But what did other’s think of tonight’s episode?
There were a few people that recognised the location

Fans of Who and Hybrid 12 thought this was one of Jodie’s best performances.
We loved ALL of tonight’s ep but want to discuss #jodiewhittaker and her performance. So much richness to it – there’s relaxed charm, silly humour, authoritative confidence, real fear and the scene in the basement – WOW! She’s our Doctor. Truly. #doctorwho #hauntingofvilladiodati pic.twitter.com/q4n5qDmHyi

“Cause sometimes this team structure isn’t flat. It’s mountainous, with me at the summit, in the stratosphere alone. Sometimes, even I can’t win!”

While the story about the summer of Villa Diodati was not exactly accurate, Beth was happy Byron was portrayed more honestly.
SO glad they portrayed Lord Byron as he actually was, as opposed to glorifying him.

Lee Binding identified just a bit of wibbly wobbly time shifting.
Although the only thing missing for me was the resolution of how Byron moved on from that night to opening a restaurant chain but hey ripples of time and all that.

The Lone Cyberman hit a creepy scary note with Toby Forrest.
This era has been so good with the “big three” enemies so far. The Dalek in Resolution was brilliantly brutal, the Master in Spyfall glorious and now the Lone Cyberman in tonight’s episode really displayed how creepy they can be. Marvellous body horror elements. #DoctorWho

The Women of Who remember who the Doctor had lost to cyber conversion.

And the Universe of Who doesn’t think there is enough time to close off all the questions opened in this series.
I think series 12 will still leave us with a lot of questions, arc wise. We'll get the lone cyberman resolution and possibly the Timeless Child (And the master!) but I doubt the Ruth doctor will be resolved.#DoctorWho
