A new Fam rises in the new Series 13 photo… along with what may be a new clue to help you #FindTheDoctor
The official Doctor Who social media accounts have dropped a new publicity photo for Series 13. The image shows Jodie Whittaker’s Thirteenth Doctor alongside existing companion Yaz Khan (Mandip Gill) and her new friend Dan Lewis (John Bishop).
The new image doesn’t tell us much about Series 13. It does confirm that the Doctor is switching to a set of navy braces from her previous yellow, but that’s about it. Though, does Yaz’s more wistful attitude, in contrast to the Doctor and Dan’s broad smiles, hint as some discontent about the TARDIS? The teaser unveiled at San Diego Comic Con certainly suggested Yaz regards Dan as the junior member of the team. But if the Doctor maintains her traditional ‘flat team structure,’ could it be a source of friction?

The image also contains a potential hint in the ongoing #FindTheDoctor Augmented Reality Game. In the corner of the graffiti on the wall behind them, there’s a very specific bit of vandalism. It reads 53.38038, -1.45899. That’s the longitude and latitude of Park Hill Flats in Sheffield – the real world filming location for the Khans’ apartment building. But why? And does the fact the five is the longitude is highlighted in a different colour have special meaning?
