Heaven Sent

The BBC have revealed that the Doctor Who Series 9 finale will be over an hour long. Titled Hell Bent, it will fill a slot on BBC One of 65 minutes on Dec 5. Coupled with its 55-minute preceding episode, Heaven Sent, this makes for a two hour finale. Check out the synopsis for Hell Bent below.

Doctor Who, Hell Bent airs 8pm – 9.05pm, Dec 5 on BBC One. In a recent interview, Steven Moffat revealed that there are cameos for returning monsters and it also features Ohila and the Sisterhood of Karn, and “many more”… Read HERE for more info.

  1. I can actually handle 12 eps per season rather than 13 if the total run length remains the same and they add 10-20mins during the final eps or at the beginning. It allows the plot to be wrapped up properly or some extra development in the eps. How many times have you watched an episode and thought an extra 5-10 mins would have done it better and made it less rushed.
