The BBC have released the synopsis for the penultimate episode of Doctor Who Series 9, Heaven Sent, check it out below.

Trapped in a world unlike any other he has seen, the Doctor faces the greatest challenge of his many lives. One final test. And he must face it alone.
Pursued by the fearsome creature known only as the Veil, he must attempt the impossible. If he makes it through, Gallifrey is waiting…
As revealed previously, this episode is a “one hander” though does also feature actor Jami Reid-Quarrell (Colony Sarf in The Magician’s Apprentice). Check out an on-set filming report HERE.


Doctor Who, Heaven Sent airs 8.05 – 9pm, Nov 28 on BBC One.

  1. Gallifrey is a pretty big spoiler indeed. I guess that plot is going to be resolved after all. Question now of course is – is Clara still with the Doctor at this point or are we going to be saying goodbye to her in two weeks? Sad thought.

    • Likely the parting will happen after she left and the final scene will be the eyebrows again, like his opening scene yelling all 13. Only before that he will mumble something about tracking that info this time, to come back too later.
