Who fans in Australia and New Zealand can rejoice as the air dates for Doctor Who Series 9 have been revealed by their respective broadcast channels.
ABC iview announced that Doctor Who Series 9 will be fast-tracked direct from the UK, with the first episode, The Magician’s Apprentice, premiering on iview on Sunday 20 September at 5.30am (AEST). The story will air later that day on ABC at 7.40pm.
New Zealand television channel Prime announced that Doctor Who Series 9 will also start on Sunday September 20, but at 7.30pm. This will be the regular slot for the series.
Doctor Who, The Magician’s Apprentice airs on BBC One at 7.40pm on Sept 19.
