The BBC have released a teaser trailer for Doctor Who Series 8 – watch it in the player below. It reveals a glimpse of Peter Capaldi as The Doctor in the new series which is due to start in August. Doctor Who Series 8 also sees Jenna Coleman return as Clara with writers Steven Moffat, Gareth Roberts, Mark Gatiss, Phil Ford, Steve Thompson and are joined by new writers Peter Harness and Jamie Mathieson.
