Relive Segun Akinola’s epic soundtrack to The Power of the Doctor and this year’s other specials with the Series 13 – The Specials Soundtrack
Doctor Who’s outgoing composer Segun Akinola has revealed on Twitter that his final set of soundtracks for the series are on their way to CD. The final three CD set will feature music from this year’s specials, Eve of the Daleks, Legend of the Sea Devils, and The Power of the Doctor. Each soundtrack will also be released individually digitally.
The new release comes from Silva Screen Records on the 13th of January 2023. Alongside this triple CD set, Silva Screen will digitally release the volumes separately – Eve Of The Daleks on the 2nd of December, Legend of the Sea Devils on the 9th of December and The Power Of The Doctor on the 16th of December. This now means that the almost the entire run of 21st century Doctor Who soundtrack will be complete. Except, notably, the long awaited Series Ten soundtrack, that is.
