For the first time in its history, Doctor Who has graced the cover of the US listings magazine TV Guide – click on the image for a bigger version. The show won the magazine’s annual Fan Favorites competition and was up against the likes of The Walking Dead and The Vampire Diaries. This issue of TV Guide hits news stands later this week.

  1. Excellent news, though for the record this isn't the first time the series has been featured on the cover of TV Guide. The Canadian edition (which was editorially separate from the US) featured Christopher Eccleston and Billie Piper on the cover back in 2005.
