Ncuti Gatwa is making his first major convention appearance since becoming the Doctor at London Film and Comic Con this November

The Doctor will see you now! Or rather, he will in November. Ncuti Gatwa will be making his first major comic con appearance since his Doctor Who reign began. He’ll be at London Film and Comic Con this Winter, in a rare opportunity to meet the current Doctor. The LFCC Summer edition took place last weekend, with announcements of guests for the winter edition of the biannual conventions only just beginning. But having the Fifteenth Doctor himself headlining the event is a strong early start to the lineup.

Gatwa’s co-star Bonnie Langford is among the other Doctor Who stars already announced for LFCC Winter. Langford first joined Doctor Who in 1986’s Trial of a Time Lord as the Sixth Doctor’s companion Mel, staying for the transition to Sylvester McCoy’s time in the TARDIS. She returned to the show last year, with Mel having joined UNIT to help defend 21st century Earth, and played a major role in season finale The Legend of Ruby Sunday/Empire of Death.

Joinng the two is one of Bonnie Langford’s other Doctors: Colin Baker. Baker was the show’s lead from 1984 to 1986, before his recent return for an episode of Tales of the TARDIS. Of course, both Baker and Langford are also long time stars of Big Finish’s audio dramas.

Colin Baker will be onsite for the whole weekend of London Film and Comic Con, but Ncuti Gatwa and Bonnie Langford will only be attending on Saturday. So make sure when buying your tickets to go the right day!

Colin Baker and Bonnie Langford are also confirmed as guests, with more Doctor Who stars sure to follow

The event takes place at the Olympia in London on the 16th and 17th of November this year. Tickets are on sale now, starting at £28 for as single day, or £52 for the weekend. However, first time attendees should be aware there are additional charges once in the convention. Ncuti Gatwa’s autograph is £125, photoshoots start from £95, and access to his panel is £20. Meanwhile, Bonnie Langford and Colin Baker will each set you back £25 for an autograph and £25 for a photoshoot (or £60 for a photo with both of them.) That’s a minimum of £368 for the full Doctor Who experience at LFCC so consider your budget carefully.

You can keep yourself updated as they announce further guests and more schedule details, as well as buying your tickets, from the official LLFC website.
