The Doctor’s has received a delivery…. and a cry for help. Team TARDIS go undercover at the mega delivery retailer Kerblam to find out who the message came from and what help they need. But what did WE find out about the Doctor?
Still Struggling with the controls
Clearly these new TARDIS controls are not that intuitive because The Doctor is still struggling with them as she attempts to avoid the teleport beam heading towards the TARDIS. Maybe that explains how the teleport got onto ship, perhaps the Doctor hasn’t found the shields yet.
The delivery The Doctor receives is a Fez. She doesn’t remember ordering it but presumably she did so back when she was the 11th Doctor and had a thing for that particular type of head ware. We can also assume that if she is only now getting the delivery this might be the first time she’s been to this region of the universe, in this particular time-period since placing the order.
Some of her best friends are robots
Ok, we already knew that. After all there is K9, Kamelion, and Nardol just for starters.
The Doctor mentions she once met a man named Roger Wilko after the radio communication phrase of the same name is used. Could this be a hint at an off-screen crossover? The time-travelling protagonist of the “Space Quest” series of computer games is also named Roger Wilko.
When the Doctor is threatened with a formal warning for insubordination she mentions that she could “add it to her collection”. A glib comment maybe. Or maybe she does have a pin board full of them in pride of place somewhere in the TARDIS. The Doctor has certainly never been one for following others orders.
