What a stunning new trailer.  It is beautiful.  Everything from the visuals, the music and Jodie.  All delivering a perfect pitch for the new series.

The new companions are all there – Yasmin (Mandip Gill), Ryan (Tosin Cole) and Graham (Bradley Walsh).  There is a lot of positive energy on the screen. We’ve got scenes from the first two episodes, a view at the new sonic screwdriver but no TARDIS.  To be fair, that’s got to be in the episode.

I still not too sure about the coat but hey ho.  I never thought bow ties were cool anyway.  Funny and entertaining, but cool? Nope.  And besides, it is definitely a swishy coat.

There’s a new Doctor in the house and she’s definitely in charge!!  It’s going to be a fun ride.

Doctor Who returns to our screens on Sunday 7th October.  The new series stars Jodie Whittaker as the Thirteenth Doctor and the first female to portray the lead role for this long-running series.

  1. Love the trailer! Hate, hate, hate the music. 🙂

Seriously, pop music is so niche these days, I don’t know why they think using a “popular” song is going to make the show seem more popular.
