Details have been announced for the North American release of Doctor Who – The Complete Seventh Series on DVD and Bluray. Including all 13 episodes from Series 7 and the 2011 and 2012 Christmas Specials (The Doctor, The Widow & the Wardrobe and The Snowmen respectively, the 6-disc boxset set hits the USA and Canada on Sept 24.   1. I'm glad they change their minds, but their excuse for the original plan was complete BS.
    "It was already available as a stand alone item"
    So were (and still are) Voyage of the Damned, The Next Doctor and A Christmas Carol and they still made it onto their respective Box Sets.
    I'm a cynic and still see it as a (now) failed attempt to get more cash from UK fans.
    Hopefully BBC-WW will now realise that we will not put up with anything and everything.
    I had wondered if they were going to make us wait until there was a Season 7 "Ultra Edition" which would have included Christmas 2011, 2012, 50th & 2013.
    It does now beg the question where will the 50th and Christmas 2013 go.
    This time I would not be averse to the 50th Ep being standalone but then include the Christmas special on the Complete S8 Box
