Whatever happened to Susan Foreman? The Early Adventures explore the aftermath of The Dalek Invasion of Earth this August
Doctor Who – The Early Adventures: After the Daleks arrives from Big Finish Productions this August. The new full cast audio drama explores what happens in the aftermath of 1964 television episode The Dalek Invasion of Earth, with Carole Ann Ford reprising her original role as classic companion Susan Foreman.
Susan, famously, was the very first companion in Doctor Who history. She also has the very first exit story, being left behind on 22nd century Earth with her fiance David. Together, they intend to help rebuild after the Dalek invasion. Since then Carole Ann Ford has returned to the role several times for Big Finish, catching up with the Doctor’s granddaughter decades after their parting. Most recently, Susan’s War even revealed her role in the Time War. But now After the Daleks for the first time brings us back to the young Susan as she tries to take her first steps on her own, without her grandfather.
Doctor Who – The Early Adventures: After the Daleks
The Dalek Invasion of Earth is over, but there’s still so much left to do. Susan is trying to help rebuild society as best she can, but some people don’t see it as a chance to restore what was lost. Some people see it as a chance to claim power for themselves.
It’s not just human survivors that Susan has to worry about. Unbeknownst to her, a lone Dalek survives. A lone Dalek with a single purpose –to reclaim the Earth!
