Doctor Who Adventures, the official magazine for younger readers, is returning for a special issue dedicated to the Thirteenth Doctor

Doctor Who Adventures is back on sale now, for the first time in nineteen months. The new special from Panini focuses on Jodie Whittaker’s incarnation and her new Fam of Ryan, Yaz and Graham. It comes with four exclusive postcards and 100 stickers, as well as a pull out 2019 calendar poster. The issue itself includes puzzles, posters, facts and competitions and quizzes. There is also a new exclusive adventure for the Doctor and her best friends.

The magazine originally launched in April 2006 and continued until June 2017. Over the course of its twelve year run it moved between a monthly, fortnightly and weekly schedules and clocked up 387 issues in total. This new special will be the 388th issue. For fans who grew up with the modern revival, DWA formed a part of their childhood. The special is sure to be greeted with the nostalgia with which older fans greet classic Doctor Who Weekly covers. It remains to be seen if this will usher in a new series of DWA in the future.

The special is on sale from Thursday, the 10th of January and can be found in all good newsagents, priced £3.99. DWA is published by Panini Magazines, who also publish DWM.
