An action figure set of the Doctor and the Meep from Doctor Who 60th Anniversary special The Star Beast is out now
It’s already almost three years since David Tennant returned to Doctor Who in a literal blaze of glory at the end of The Power of the Doctor. He went on to appear in the three 60th Anniversary specials as the Fourteenth Doctor. Now you have a new chance to own him in toy form with a Star Beast action figure set.
This exclusive set is a celebration of the 60th anniversary episode The Star Beast. It includes the Fourteenth Doctor figure plus a stunning Meep figure. The new release is part of the new range of Vortex Edition sets. As such, the figures feature a higher specification decoration applied over base colour plastics for extra detail.
This exclusive set is a celebration of the 60th anniversary episode The Star Beast and includes the Fourteenth Doctor figure plus a stunning Meep figure. Both feature a higher specification decoration applied over base colour plastics for extra detail.
The Fourteenth Doctor figure has shirt sleeves and waistcoat and has his own sonic screwdriver accessory. This is a new variant of this incarnation of the Time Lord, who was previously released wearing his long blue coat as part of the Regeneration Set.
The Meep features both good and evil heads, multiple hands
The second figure is the nefarious Meep with two interchangeable heads, one the ‘placid’ Meep expression and the other the evil maniacal Meep expression. It also has three sets of interchangeable hands. The first set echoes the meek ‘under the chin’ pose and the second is an ‘open handed’ pose. The third one, meanwhile, incorporates the Meep’s blaster. It also has waist articulation and ball jointed poseable arms and elbows with internal pins.
The set comes beautifully presented in open presentation box packaging and is the perfect piece of memorabilia to add to any collection.
You can order the Fourteenth Doctor and Meep Vortex Edition set now, exclusively from the Character Options website here.
