The Who Shop opens pre-orders for its striking new and exclusive Fourteenth Doctor poster
The next piece of merchandise celebrating David Tennant’s return to Doctor Who and the show’s 60th Anniversary has been revealed. Exclusive to The Who Shop, the new maxi-poster measures a massive 61 x 91.5cm, and depicts the new Fourteenth Doctor in the aftermath of The Power of the Doctor. He stands atop Durdle Door in his blue herringbone longcoat, and brown tartan waistcoat and trousers. But as the sun rises above him, and the last stars of the night shine, he looks enigmatically at the viewer. Why is he back? And what does it all mean?

The exclusive Who Shop poster is one of a whole range of diamond anniversary merchandise
Tennant was reintroduced as our hero at the end of the most recent episode, as the Thirteenth Doctor tags in her successor, only for the new Doctor to quickly realize they’re actually an old one. The action continues in November with three 60th Anniversary specials. The Doctor will reunite with his old friend Donna Noble and her family, and face evils new and familiar.
The Diamond Anniversary also sees the return of former showrunner Russell T Davies and many of the team that originally resurrected the show in 2005. And it’s all leading to Ncuti Gatwa’s brand new Doctor taking control of the TARDIS in a fourth special over the festive period.
The Who Shop poster is one of a whole range of merchandise marking the anniversary this year. It joins Forbidden Planet’s ongoing Diamond Collection range, celebrating every single Doctor month by month.
You can pre-order the poster now from The Who Shop, priced £4.99, before its release some time early this year.
