The BBC have confirmed the air date and the synopsis for episode 5 of Doctor Who series 10.

Oxygen, written by Jamie Mathieson (Flatline) and directed by Charles Palmer (Human Nature/Family of Blood) premieres on Saturday, May 13th on BBC One and BBC America.

Synopsis

The Doctor, Bill and Nardole answer a distress call in deep space, and find themselves trapped on board space station Chasm Forge. All but four of the crew have been murdered – and the dead are still walking!

In a future where oxygen is sold by the breath, and space suits are valued more highly than their occupants, the TARDIS crew battle for survival against the darkest evil of all…

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi), Bill (Pearl Mackie) and Nardole played by Matt Lucas will be joined by guest stars Kieran Bew (Beowulf), Justin Salinger (Humans) and Mimi Ndiweni (Mr Selfridge).

This new series was shot in Cardiff at BBC Wales Roath Lock Studios and is produced by BBC Studios Wales.
