Sioned Jones stars in new science fiction audio drama Dilation as Amanda Higgs, a gifted scientist who has made a breakthrough that could change the world forever. But reappearing in the UK four decades after she originally vanished in unexplained circumstances, she finds the nation already unrecognizable. The intervening years have seen massive political and economic turmoil in Britain. And the ominous Foman Corporation have taken advantage to dig their claws deep into every aspect of society. And now they will do whatever it takes to get their hands of Higgs’ work.
With only a social misfit called Marnie (Rebecca Ross) to help her navigate this strange new world, can Higgs keep her research out of the hands of those who would abuse it? Or could it save the world?

Written and directed by Max Hochard of Par-Sec Productions, it’s Par-Sec’s first collaboration with B7 Media. B7 Media’s Executive Producer, Andrew Mark Sewell, says, “When we were first approached by Par-sec Productions we were immediately struck by the originality of writer/director Max Hochrad’s work. Hochard himself is similarly enthusiastic about the team-up. “When creating Dilation, I wanted to write something that was entertaining and thrilling, but also plausible and accessible, a projected view of life that people could relate to. In fact, one of the themes that crept in was isolation, both personal and political, which, I believe, reflects the current political climate. I’m really excited to be collaborating with B7 Media to help bring the story to a wide audience.”
