David Tennant‘s podcast series is due to return in August for a second run, as he sits down with more famous faces from across the world of entertainment and beyond

Last January saw a surprising but exciting announcement come from Georgia Tennant, as she revealed that her husband would be creating a brand new podcast series. The first series of David Tennant Does A Podcast With… saw the actor sit down with his famous friends from the worlds of TV, film, and even politics to talk in depth about their lives and careers, and how they came to be where they are today.

Among Series 1’s guests were several familiar faces from the Doctor Who universe, including the current Doctor herself, Jodie Whittaker, as well as Tennant’s former companion Catherine Tate. Elsewhere, Tennant spoke with Good Omens co-star Michael Sheen, plus Ian McKellen, Whoopi Goldberg, and even former Prime Minister Gordon Brown.

Now, after just over a year, a trailer has been released for the upcoming second series of ‘David Tennant Does A Podcast With…’. It’s set to be just as star-studded as the first, with many well-known figures already confirmed as appearing in future episodes.

The trailer promises guests from ‘all over the world’, and goes on to name an eclectic list of guests whose interviews have already been recorded. As in the previous series, Tennant’s latest guests consist of actors, performers, and even politicans:

  • Dame Judi Dench
  • Jim Parsons
  • Stacey Abrams
  • Brian Cox
  • Elizabeth Moss
  • Dan Levy
  • Cush Jumbo
  • Tim Minchin

‘David Tennant Does A Podcast With…’ returns on Tuesday 11th August with an interview with actor Jim Parsons.
