A Big CONGRATS goes out to Big Finish who won a BBC Audio Award in the Best Online/non-Broadcast category for Doctor Who: Absent Friends.
‘Absent Friends’ written by John Dorney is part of the emotional and exciting ‘Doom Coalition 3′ box set released in September 2016. The audio series stars Paul McGann as the eighth Doctor, Alex Kingston as River Song, Nicola Walker and Hattie Morahan.
Big Finish was competing against one of its own dramas, Torchwood: More Than This and Baker’s End: The King Of Cats. Baker’s End: The King of Cats, Bafflegab Productions also has Doctor Who ties as it stars Tom Baker and Katy Manning
