It has been revealed that Catherine Tate is to make a rare convention appearance in the US.
The former Doctor Who companion will be appearing at Fan Expo Dallas on the 1st and 2nd April. The con takes place at the Dallas Convention Centre over the full weekend – 31st March to 2nd April.
Tate, who played Donna Noble opposite Tenth Doctor David Tennant will be available for both photo opportunities ($60) and autographs ($40). There is no word as to whether she will take part in any Q&A panels.
Many ex and current Doctor Who stars appear nowadays at conventions all over the world but for Tate they are few and far between. Her first was back in 2013 at Starfury’s Return of the 11th Hour.

Other Doctor Who stars currently announced for this con include John Barrowman, Alex Kingston and Karen Gillan. They will join big TV, comic and film names such as comic creator Stan Lee, Star Wars Mark Hamill and The Walking Dead’s Norman Reedus. Also making a rare convention appearance is Rocky Horror Picture Show star Tim Curry.
