In case you missed the news earlier this week, BlogtorWho is now bringing Doctor Who fans a new podcast. With the weekend now here it is the perfect opportunity to check out the first three episodes which are available now. The BlogtorWhoCast is also sporting a shiny new logo which we hope you like too.

The BlogtorWhoCast is a new podcast presented by Bedwyr Gullidge, Susan Hewitt and Mat Greenfield. Together they discuss the latest news from the world of Doctor Who and debate specific topics or review episodes. We also hope to bring listeners exclusive interviews with special Doctor Who guests. It is available now on the Soundcloud website and app, plus iTunes and the Apple podcast app. Unsurprisingly the BlogtorWhoCast begins with a ‘Thirteenth Doctor Special’.

In Episode 1, recorded a few weeks ago, Bedwyr, Susan and Mat discuss some news and chat about Jodie Whittaker’s casting as the Thirteenth Doctor. In the news Mat talks us through the First Doctor Adventures, starring David Bradley, coming soon from Big Finish. Susan brings us news of ‘Good Omens’ starring David Tennant and Bedwyr raises the sad news surrounding the closure of the Doctor Who Experience in Cardiff. The trio then discuss the prospect of a new, female Doctor and ponder how this will affect viewing figures.

In Episode 2, Bedwyr, Mat and Susan talk at length about the upcoming Shada animation, discuss the prospect of hour long episodes and update listeners on some of Christopher Ecclestone’s upcoming roles. The team then review the opening episode of Series 10; ‘The Pilot’. They discuss Pearl Mackie’s Bill Potts, a new role for the Thirteenth Doctor and a fresh start for the show.

Episode 3, recorded a few days ago, sees Bedwyr, Susan and Mat discuss the major Doctor Who casting news, plus the format for Series 11. Following on from their discussion about hour long episodes the new running times are covered, as are the new cast members, Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole. Also in this episode the trio review ‘Smile’ from Series 10. They talk Emojibots, stunning locations and the developing relationship between Bill and The Doctor.
