Dr. Owen Harper is back! The latest monthly adventure in the Torchwood range opens in a Cardiff hospital all set to be bulldozed, but with a ward full of coma patients with strange symptoms. Torchwood: Iceberg is available now through the Big Finish website.

Medical drama! Naturally, the latest Torchwood release, Torchwood: Iceberg, would start in a hospital ward packed full of comatose patients. But Dr Owen Harper (Burn Gorman) is back to save the day. Assuming he can help someone he ghosted many years ago. And assuming they want help.

Torchwood: Iceberg – Lowri Walton (Lucy Shepherd), Maya Saroya (Amira Hussein) and Burn Gorman (Owen Harper) (c) Big Finish

Burn Gorman returns to play Torchwood’s resident medical boffin alongside Maya Saroya (Amira) and Lowri Walton (Lucy) in a creepy character piece for Dr Owen Harper.

Written by Grace Knight, Torchwood: Iceberg begins with a late-night call for help from a former colleague, and ultimately becomes an epic alien invasion story.

Sometimes the best patients are the ones who remain unconscious.

Torchwood: Iceberg is now available to own as a collector’s edition CD at £10.99 or on download from the Big Finish website at £8.99.

Please note that Torchwood contains adult material and may not be suitable for younger listeners.

Dr Owen Harper’s called to the hospital. There’s a ward full of remarkable coma patients and more are coming in. Each patient came in with a dead relative as their imaginary friend.

Has Owen really discovered a bridge between the living and the dead?

Actor Burn Gorman said: “It’s quite interesting talking about Owen’s barriers. He lets somebody in occasionally but most of the time he walks around with an extremely hard exterior, and cynicism and snarkiness. He’s a good guy at heart by, my God, he’s had his ups and downs.
