BIG FINISH: The Master and Ace in the Time War

Big Finish has revealed cast & story details for their new Gallifrey: Time War series, and it looks like we are in for a real treat!

Directed by Scott Handcock, this new instalment in the Gallifrey series of audio dramas will pull us into the depths of the Time War. It will feature the return of companions Romana (Lalla Ward), Leela (Louise Jameson) and Ace (Sophie Aldred).

They are joined by the War Master (as played by Derek Jacobi) and Irving Braxiatel, the Doctor’s brother. Braxiatel was first introduced in the Virgin New Adventures, a series of novels published during the Wilderness Years.

Gallifrey: Time War will also feature the return of Narvin, an original Big Finish character. He’s a Time Lord and heads up the Celestial Intervention Agency.

Big Finish also revealed a few story details. They revealed that the box-set will consist of four episodes:

• Celestial Intervention
• Soldier Obscura
• The Devil You Know
• Desperate Measures
