The latest and last release of the Torchwood – Among Us audio series is released today. Part 3 contains four new full-cast audio dramas featuring the Torchwood team of Ng (Alexandria Riley), Orr (Samantha Béart), Mr Colchester (Paul Clayton) and Tyler (Jonny Green). Also returning are Yvonne Hartman (Tracy Ann Oberman), Rhys Williams (Kai Own) and Janet (Janet Ellis) with Al Coppola, and Victoria Gee.
It has been a difficult haul for the production and creative teams. There have been numerous delays and detours in completing this final release. With the pandemic, the monarchy events and changes, Big Finish have had to work through a number of problems. Producer and writer James Goss provides an interesting take on these challenges in the video below throughout the past few months.
The final four stories were directed by Scott Handcock. He has since moved on and is now working at Bad Wolf Productions for Julie Gardner and Jane Tranter in Cardiff, Wales as the script editor for the new series of Doctor Who.
