Earlier today BBC Breakfast reported on tomorrow night’s broadcast of the very first Doctor Who story, An Unearthly Child – watch it in the player below. It includes an interview with director Waris Hussein, who was in attendance of a stage version of it in Manchester, and a delightful screening of the very first episode to a group of schoolchildren. All four parts of An Unearthly Child air tomorrow night on BBC Four at 10.30pm.

  1. Wonderful as it is to se the show getting so much coverage his week, I'm starting to felel a bit worn-down by this constant stream of lightweight TV presenters and their "vague" memories of the show or else their obvious patronising disinterest.
