Today is the final day of the Blogtor Who Advent Calendar, I hope you’ve enjoyed the twenty~five day journey through numbers and fun, even if you don’t celebrate Christmas. You can find links to all of the daily treats HERE.

Included for your listening pleasure is the Blogtor Who audio commentary for the Doctor Who 2011 Christmas Special, The Doctor, The Widow & The Wardrobe. Recorded by Cameron K McEwan and Alexander J McKinnon, the commentary can be enjoyed whilst watching the story – though, that’s not essential.

  1. Excellent ratings prove that the show still has life in it. But Moffat needs to revert to writing stories, as opposed to the throw idea's at the screen and see what sticks approach. An actual 'bad guy' would help, also we need to leave behind the Ponds, ALL of them. The fact that this is not going to happen, and the lackluster team of current writers (Gatis, Roberts, etc) means that for the next series im setting my expectations low, and I know Im not the only one.

  2. I loved it. It's my favorite Christmas special to date. I think Moffat is doing a brilliant job and despite the Ponds lengthy stay on the show there's still a kind of emotional attachment to the characters. I do wish River had showed up a little at the end though.
