Today the script read-through took place for the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary Special. Pictured above are current and former Doctor Whos, Matt Smith and David Tennant – click on the image for a bigger version. The BBC have stated that the sixty minute 3D episode features, “many more familiar faces” – it also stars former and current companions Billie Piper and Jenna-Louise Coleman along with screen legend, John Hurt (Alien).
ETA: Another picture has been released (see above) featuring actress Joanna Page (Gavin & Stacey) with David, Jenna and Matt. The story is written by Steven Moffat and directed by Nick Hurran (Asylum of the Daleks, amongst others) and will receive a limited worldwide cinema release.

    sounds like the newest version of a script. It's not uncommon to call revisions by colors. So it could be the blue amended script

  2. typical BBC Amer butt kissin lineup 4 the of the 50th Anni. BBC remember wi/o Dr's 1 thru 8 there would b no Dr Who Boycott it
    I hope Dr's 4 thru 8 do there own special.

  3. Sure enough, there have been a few places suggesting "Blue Amends" is the title – even though it's just a references to the version of the script. Too funny!

  4. Sure someone has noticed this already, but there is a dalek edging in on the left hand side of the photographs. Probably nothing though.
