The BBC have confirmed the air date, time and the synopsis for episode 7 of Doctor Who series 10.

‘The Pyramid At The End Of The World’ written by Peter Harness and Steven Moffat, and directed by Daniel Nettheim (Broadchurch) premieres on May 27th on BBC One at 7:45pm and BBC America at 9/8c.

Official Synopsis

A 5,000-year-old Pyramid stands at the centre of a war zone, where the Chinese, Russian and American armies are about to clash. There are many problems with that, but the one that intrigues the Doctor is this: there wasn’t a pyramid there yesterday.

The Doctor, Bill and Nardole face an alien invasion unlike any other, and before conquest can begin, these aliens need the consent of the human race…

The Doctor played by Peter Capaldi is joined by new companion Bill (Pearl Mackie) and Nardole (Matt Lucas) along with guest stars Tony Gardener (The Thick of It) as Douglas, Togo Igawa (Thomas & Friends) as Secretary General of the UN, Daphne Cheung (Critical) as Captain Xiaolian and Ronke Adekoluejo (Cold Feet) as Penny.

This new series was shot in Cardiff at BBC Wales Roath Lock Studios and is produced by BBC Studios Wales.
