The BBC have just confirmed that original Mondasian Cybermen are to return to Doctor Who as filming begins on the final block of the forthcoming series.
Along with the announcement comes a new picture of current Doctor Peter Capaldi alongside this classic monster and news that they will be seen in the final 2 episodes of series 10.
The original version, who hail from the planet Mondas are a long time favourite of Peter Capaldi and have not been seen in Doctor Who for over fifty years.
Capaldi will be joined the fight by Pearl Mackie as Bill Potts, Matt Lucas as Nardole and Michelle Gomez as Missy. Episodes 11 and 12 are written by Steven Moffat and directed by Rachel Talalay and are currently filming in Cardiff.
The new series of Doctor Who begins on BBC One and BBC America on Saturday April 15th.
