The 2014 Doctor Who Christmas Special will star Peter Capaldi. Wilmshurst has directed the Doctor Who Series 8 episodes, Kill The Moon and Mummy on the Orient Express.
I know Christmas specials have become tradition, but I'm personally getting tired of them (they are rarely ever that good anyway). How many stories can you base off Christmas without it going stale? Can we have a Christmas special that's just ON Christmas without it having anything to do WITH Christmas?
I agree. The only Christmas special's I've really liked a lot were The End of Time and Time of The Doctor. I rank the Widow and The Wardrobe right up there with Fear Her for worst episode ever, lol.
Well I disagree. Wardrobe wasn't the best, but Voyage of the Damned, Runaway Bride, definitely The Snowmen and A Christmas Carol were fantastic. Keep them coming (though I wouldn't mind if they toss in the occasional other holiday too, like Halloween).
